About Us

Julie's Massage Therapy and School is one of the only massage establishments that truly focuses on massage. We don't do pedicures or any other cosmetology service. We concentrate on massage, we are also Animal Friendly. We have the knowledge to work on Dogs and Cats and some of your other smaller four legged creatures. We are certified in many different modalities. Such as Swedish, Therapeutic, Sports Injuries, Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic, Myofascial, Geriatric, Hot Stone, Pre-Natal and many more.

We have many different massage therapist that work through our establishment. We do accept walk-ins but it is always best to book ahead because then you are assured an appointment.

Since we are also a Massage School we also offer Student Massages at a lesser price of $25 because the students need people to practice on. You do have to call ahead for the student massages, We have to make schedule arrangements for the students to come in.

Because we are a teaching facility if we don't have someone on hand, for a specific type of massage such as (deep tissue or pre-natal) at the time you call. we can arrange for someone to come in for you usually within a day or 2 of your call.

Our rooms are big and spacious, so if anyone is interested, we are also capable of working on two people at the same time in the same room, if you know someone you might want to share your time with. We have actually worked on four people at the same time before. That was a lot of fun, a bunch of girls came in from after work and we had four therapists waiting and it was probably the noisiest, giggling massage that we have done but it really was alot of fun.

If you really want to plan someting special we can even have a meal delivered from a huge choice of local restraunts.

Some of our rooms might even make you think you are somewhere else.

Some of the rooms are just so homey you will probably just go to sleep.

The goal at Julie's is to let you know that we really care about our clients. We have a very homie warm atmosphere when you walk in. We actually work on you for 1 hr. Unless you are running late and it is going to cut into the next clients time.

We are also animal friendly. If you don't like animals then this probably isn't the place for you. Sometimes we have kittens until we find homes for them and sometimes we have dogs at our establishment. We have even been known to have a baby pig being bottle fed for a week and baby birds until they can be set free in the wild.

If you can't leave fido at home or in the car, he can sit in the room with you as long as he is house broke and has had all his shots and is on a leash.

Don't let the animals scare you, our place is big and spacious. We have 5 massage rooms downstairs and a school upstairs. We have over 2,500 square feet in our building. Each room is very tastefully done, the animals have their own room and we will soon be adding a kennel outside.

We take the time to explain what we are doing and check to see how you are doing. We try to explain how you are going to be feeling after we are done so that you know what to expect from your body. If you are a first time client, a lot of times we will call to see how you are feeling.

We have a lot of clients that have been seeing us for over a year. Many of them had not had any relief or had been able to move correctly until they came to see us and now they are regulars because they like feeling better without surgery.

We have one client who actually paid for another massage thearapist to get a massage at our place so the therapist could see how we did things. That therapist ended up taking a class from us. In something she/he wasn't certified in yet, because we offer over 20 classes for continuing education. Check out our upcomming classes. Or call to see when our next class

We work with the community and have helped out with alot of fund raisers in both Yuba/Sutter and Butte County. If you are interested in different types of fund raisers then give us a call.
